It was when I retired as an Elementary School Principal in Maryland to move here to be closer to my children and grandchildren, that I heard about CASA and what it was all about. After a year of retirement, I was looking for some type of volunteer work that was meaningful, interesting and educational. My daughter-in-law mentioned CASA to me. I checked it out, applied and was trained for the most rewarding and challenging job I have ever had.
