Franklin, Tennessee – Primrose School of Cool Springs is donating the proceeds from their recent ‘Spring Fling’ event to benefit Williamson County CASA and Middle Tennessee Flood Relief. Primrose is donating $6,000, divided between the two causes. The check presentation will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Primrose School. The campus is located at 1010 Windcross Court, Franklin, TN 37067.
With a mission to be the leader in educational child care, Primrose School of Cool Springs is a high quality, 3-star accredited, private preschool specializing in early childhood education. At their campus, they offer year round programs of full time and part time childcare and educational programs for children from Infants through private Pre-Kindergarten.
Primrose uses their annual ‘Spring Fling’ carnival event to support their community by raising funds for a local charity. This year, they chose to partner with Williamson County CASA. The Primrose Owner also made special arrangements for a portion of the proceeds to go towards the Middle Tennessee Flood Relief through the Community Foundation.
“Primrose wants to give back to the local community, and we want to focus on an organization or cause that has touched our families personally,” said Tracy Grant, Primrose Owner.
Williamson County CASA is an advocacy program that assists children who have been displaced from their homes due to abuse and neglect. It is headquartered off of Forrest Crossing Boulevard in Franklin and has been instrumental in helping young people in Williamson County survive difficult family situations and go on to be productive, happy members of the community.
“CASA depends on volunteer efforts and donations from the community,” said Chris Barnhill, CASA Executive Director. “The funds received from Primrose will directly impact the lives of Williamson County children. We are extremely grateful to Primrose for partnering with us in our mission to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children.”
Participating in Wednesday’s check presentation will be: Tracy Grant (Primrose Owner), Susan Webb (Primrose Director), and Chris Barnhill (CASA Executive Director).
